About The Author


J. Gerard Boyle has over 40 years of experience in construction and is a recognized expert and practitioner in all aspects of project management and performance analysis. In the first half of his career, he was a senior executive with a general contracting and construction management firm, and, later, a senior executive with a project management and construction claims consulting firm.

Mr. Boyle is an internationally published author and presents regularly to the construction industry and academia on best practices in Earned Value Management, Critical Path Method scheduling, Contract Delivery, Forensic Claims analysis, Dispute Resolution, Contractor Performance Evaluation, Monte Carlo Schedule risk analysis, and related topics. He is certified as a forensic delay analyst (CFCC) by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International, and as an expert in project management (GSC) by the Canadian Construction Association. He has conceived of, and implemented, Earned Value project and schedule Management systems for multi-billion construction programs on all types of construction including heavy civil, roads, tunnelling, sewage treatment plants, airports, as well as industrial, institutional and commercial building construction.
